Murphy vs. Roth

Murphy vs. Roth

Postby MuskogeeRepublican » Thu Oct 16, 2008 1:49 pm

I believe that Jeff Cloud will win re-election, despite how tight the polls have him right now. Charles Gray is unknown; at least Cloud has run before for this seat (being the incumbent). The big race is the Murphy versus Roth one (duh!).

Dana Murphy is, and has been all along, the most qualified and experienced candidate for the Corporation Commission. I will be voting for her, and encouraging everyone I know to vote for her too. I have also given some small donations to her campaign (and encourage you to as well; her opponent has a huge cash advantage).

Jim Roth is, as you should know, a homosexual. In fact, if he is wins, he will be the first state-wide homosexual candidate to be elected in the entire nation. Not even in states like California, New York, or Massachusetts has this happened (homosexuals have been elected to state and federal legislative seats). Unfortunately, this is not an issue that Dana can bring out; we have to pick it up.

That is not Roth's only negative. As I said in a recent post on my blog, Jim Roth has basically been bought and paid for by Aubrey McClendon and Chesapeake Energy. Their relationship dates back to at least 2005.

Jim Roth will be Aubrey McClendon/Chesapeake's watchdog; Dana Murphy will be OUR watchdog! It is vital that she be elected!

I spoke with Dana Murphy yesterday -- what a charismatic lady she is. She's not Brad Henry's and Aubrey McClendon's pivot man, it's true, but she is the most qualified.

Take a look at this video on my latest post. Roth refuses to answer her question regarding his out-of-state contributions...

I just love Dana. I listened to her at a District 2 meeting back in the summer. She gave a brief biography, told us of her experience with the commission and her qualifications.

She ended with "I DO NOT NEED THIS JOB, I WANT THIS JOB.

Isn't it funny how the word's first gay superhero, who chases down muslim hit and run drivers, runs from a chick with a microphone.

Has anybody seen Roth's latest ad?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e4UJmRpcc78&eurl=http://www.roth2008.com/videos When did the Commission start regulating paper clips...  And the confused look on his face as his scratches his chin holding the jar of fuel....it's time to turn the lights out on Roth and send him back to the private sector.

MR, I didn't see the second video on this link on your site.

A question of Roth's character?

I didn't see that second video at the time... or the handy closed captioning.

I got another video emailed to me regarding Roth and his ties to Aubrey McClendon and Tim Gill (a big-time homosexual activist out of Colorado). Check it out here.

Congratulations to Dana Murphy. She did not win the majority of votes in LeFlore County in the primary, but won the general by almost 400 votes here.
